AAPEC Inc.   
Australian Action on Pre-eclampsia Inc. (AAPEC) is an association incorporated in Victoria.  It is a voluntary organisation set up to provide support and information to families who have suffered from pre- eclampsia.

Austprem Inc.
Austprem is an incorporated, non-profit organisation in Australia.  Those involved have all experienced, or been closely involved with the experience of prematurity. We aim to support in any way we can parents and caregivers of other premature infants and children.

Australian Breastfeeding Association
The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is a large community-based self-help group, recognised as a leading authority on breastfeeding management.  The Association provides innovative counselling and support services to the community and health sector throughout Australia.  You will find a wealth of information for both breastfeeding women and for health professionals and others who are involved in supporting and promoting breastfeeding on their web site.

Australian Multiple Birth Association
AMBA is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation that provides support, resources and education to families and/or carers with multiple births.  The national organisation that exists today had humble beginnings as a “mother’s of twins” club based in Newcastle NSW formed in 1969.  By 1974, this one club had grown, requiring the formation of a national governing body to support the many local clubs all over Australia.  Today there are multiple birth clubs in every State and Territory of Australia with membership of around 5000 families.

Beyond Blue
One of the aims of Beyond Blue is to produce and refer people to accurate, up to date, easy to read information on depression, anxiety and related disorders.  They have information on the diagnosis, treatment of and recovery from these disorders and feature a special section on postnatal depression.  The website provides clear and comprehensive information about postnatal depression and includes further links to additional information and resources that may be useful to sufferers and their families. 

Bonnie Babes Foundation
The Bonnie Babes Foundation is a free grief counselling service for families that have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or prematurity and related issues such as infertility.  The Bonnie Babes Foundation has helped thousands of families since its inception and is the only organisation of its type in Australia covering all pregnancy loss issues.

PANDA
PANDA is a Victorian, not-for-profit, self-help organisation that provides confidential information, support and referral to anyone affected by post and antenatal mood disorders, including partenrs and extended family members.  PANDA also produces and distributes accurate information about post and antenatal mood disorders to health professionals and the wider community.

ParentCare (NZ)
Support for parents of sick and premature babies in New Zealand.  Primarily based at Auckland City Hospital.  Amongst other things, this site includes some interesting articles and personal stories.

prematurity.org (US)
Prematurity is a volunteer preemie website. Its goal is to support preemie parents by providing information on prematurity and preemie care.  Since 1996, the Prematurity website has been a top ranked preemie support site in major search engines, preemie books, TV, and the news.  Preemie Child, the support group for parents of school age preemies, is the first and only major preemie parent organization for the growing population of older preemies. 

SANDS Australia
Each year in Australia approximately 58,000 couples experience reproductive loss:  about 55,000 experience early pregnancy loss, 1,750 babies are stillborn and about 900 babies die in the first twenty-eight days after birth.  SANDS promotes awareness, knowledge, support and understanding following the death of a baby from the time of conception through to infancy.

SIDS and Kids
The National SIDS Council of Australia, trading as SIDS and Kids, is a high-profile and well-respected not-for-profit organisation that boasts an enviable history of success.  SIDS and Kids is dedicated to saving babies' lives through the elimination of sudden and unexpected infant deaths, and supporting bereaved families. Their activities include education, research, evidenced based intervention and advocacy.
