Why Do We Need Sponsors?
Featherweight Club relies totally on donations from generous individuals and corporations, as well as its volunteers, to implement its programs. During the past financial year we have:
- Mailed Featherweight Club Newsletters to all families who have had a newborn baby admitted to the Special Care Nurseries at Mercy Hospital for Women
- Provided gifts for all families who have had a baby in the Mercy's Nurseries on special occasions such as Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas
- Established a new website and the capacity to produce e-Newsletters to keep interested families and our supporters up to date
- Worked on developing a new Peer Support Program to be implemented in the Nurseries at Mercy Hospital for Women
