Featherweight Club seeks to provide support to parents who have or have had a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or the Special Care Nursery (SCN).
We believe that a quality Peer Support Program should be just one of the resources available to families and, in particular, mothers, to ensure their good mental health and well-being during their baby's hospitalisation and during the transition from hospital to home and beyond.
We are currently working towards developing a Peer Support Program that we hope will form part of the comprehensive parent support services available at Mercy Hospital for Women.
