I am a Mum of two young children both born at Cabrini Hospital at 35 weeks gestation. My first spent 17 days in the Special Care Nursery and the second spent 21 days.   I joined Featherweight Club's Volunteer Committee because I recognised a gap in the support given to parents of babies in special care.  While all the baby's clinical needs are met, sometimes emotional, educational or practical support for the parents is overlooked.  I see that Featherweight Club is closing this gap. Special care for families with special babies.
